In the season 2019 — 2020 the club has gone through a lot of changes both inside and out. The club started playing in the Euro league and with the addition of new faces to the team roster, we decided to experiment with color and throw in an orange color to the visuals, to make it different from the football Zenit. Season was extremely experimental. The main theme was “ZENIT Disruption”.
The project changed during production stage and looked a little different as a result. You can check out the final visuals on the club's Instagram and official website.
We applied the “Disruprion” idea to all our promotion materials. For example, during the photoshoot we decided to emphasize the dramatic poses with two different light sources with warm and cold tones.
TT TRAVELS type family was used for all promo materials. The headings have a deformation look, just like a basketball hitting the court.
From all types of digital materials we made simple templates that we sent to the club.

For this season’s sportswear we have designed akzidenz typeface ZENIT.OTF with “wooden type” character. Also we added ZENIT logo and season’s lettering in special characters of typeface, which simplified usage.
To promote our content on social networks an art object was designed. It allowed people who came to see the game to take pictures and share them on social networks, tagging them with a special hashtag #DIZRUPT.
The booth uses a double-sided lighting which helps to create the effect of “photo shoot session” similar to those in which the players participate. In addition, the net in the background creates a street atmosphere and gives a rough look.
The special symbol “VS” that we use to promote upcoming games, by placing it in between the rival teams logos was designed to be used on all our merchandise products as well.
