Paperboy Paper Action Figures

Paperboy Paper Action Figures are a concept series of limited-run collections of flat pack paper toy collectibles. Each series is based on a current or eclectic reference to pop culture icons— whether it be television characters, politicians, sports teams, superheroes, or advertising characters. In addition to the figures themselves, each series includes a playset, as well as an accessory piece for each character. Shown here is the collections for the Saved By The Bell series, as well as the Heroes of PBS series.
Each character comes printed flat on heavy card stock, along with their accessory, and instructions for building. No scissors or knife are needed; the toys simply punch out of the card, and each fold line is scored from right out of the box. Assembling them is a snap, as the instructions outline the construction process easily and in a friendly manner; customers simply tape or glue on each tab and fold at each crease. Each character takes approximately 5–10 minutes to make. Series are packaged inside a tube emulating a rolled up newspaper, with character bios and information on the outside. Each bio is humorously written in editorial style, with large comical headlines. Features of the product are explained in headlines format, and the logo and logotype create the newspaper letterhead.
