Climate change and global warming are issues that concern the whole wide world. All these issues are giving more and more impact on us. As a responsible citizen in our local communities, it is up to us to solve this problem. To show the awareness, we can make a difference in different ways in order to protect our environment, which includes animal rights and the protection of their habitation. Tons of animals have been humiliated, murdered for food, for the production of bags, purse, shoes and so forth, regardless of their nearly extinction situation. Instead of treating animals as second citizens on earth, they should be viewed as non-human persons. They are one of the creations like us, only in different ways. So, therefore the balance of ecosystem should always be emphasize, the consequences of imbalance will result the extinction not only the animals but indirectly humans.
To show something different for this cool art design, I use a different style in creating a love formation, using plantations and animals. The concept for my poster is Protect them in a different way. Not only listing down every endangered species of animal, I drew them out, arranging them into a shape of love. The idea behind is to show the care that they need instead of being brutally murdered. They are not able to protect themselves if humans continuing harming them, so it is up to us to make a change. Treat them as they as part of us, before they vanish from earth. The focus point of the whole poster would be the love shape and keeping the other background clean and clear, without any other distraction, viewers from far will only notice the wordings and the shape of love. As they drew nearer to the poster, then they will get a clear glance of what we want to express. “Protect The Animal, Make a Difference”. Adding in Plants, clouds and sun will only enhance their natural habitation, but as a symbolic meaning of Mother Nature, part of the protection plan that we need to focus as well. Curvy thin lines were used in this poster design due to the softness it can produce, details of the animals, details of the plantations and details of Mother Nature, Showing the true essences of it.
“Protect Them”, in this case to emphasize the importance of love and care they need, as human we bear the responsibility to take good care of them in the very first place. Putting the word at the right side indirectly symbolizes Human heart. Using pink, red and orange tone color for this poster, it represents the standard color of love. The splatter and dirty effect in this posters again symbolizes the ruin of our nature, the devastating situation that cause the extinction of animals, but yet unnoticed by people, that’s why it not that obviously shown. A hidden meaning.
“Make a Difference”, my title is the idea of acting towards what has been told. For the past few years, people has been warned to protect Mother Nature, but there is no effort being put into action. So that’s why I produce this title, Make a Difference. Being different from other people, we, as normal household human being, can start with our neighborhood. Stray cats, dogs and even home pets, need our protection. If we are not willing to help them, who will??
The result of unprotected nature is Extinction eternally. Start now or else our next generation won’t be able to see any of it alive.
