Created as part of Uplabs creative challenge of an airbnb redesign. I struggled with this design because I was first unfamiliar with the airbnb app and the main functions that people would want. Airbnb to me is about traveling and traveling for me usually involves taking a flight, so that's why the "trips" icon is a plane. Instead of a typical home button, I decided to challenge myself and create something relating to the theme. I went on Flaticon and searched "navigations" and that's how the "discover" icon came about. 

The color scheme was first going to be a copy of the airbnb app but in the end, I went with colors that I think of during vacation. Green to be with nature and blue for water, whether that's the beach or a pool.
