Vaivén... a bench and a swing at the same time!
Vaivén was born when a collective of industrial designers (Amaranto mx) joined forces to come up with a piece of furniture where movement was used to provide the user with a fun and unique experience.
The seat / swing in Vaivén hangs from the main frame using climbing strap, which is super strong and also helps to achieve the aesthetic we were going for. Only certified Radiata pine wood was used in the construction of the wooden structure.
The inside faces of the main frame have a lacquered finish which helps blend the wood and the climbing strap together seamlessly while keeping both wood and color in balance.
Linseed oil was used to keep the Radiata pine wood looking natural yet elegant and protected.
