The making of the advertising bumpers

Screened early 2010 in association with the new Fiat Punto Evo, Evo Music Rooms is an initiative which started off as an online talent competition combining thediscovery of 6 unsigned acts presenting 6 weeks of musical evolution. Krow Communications and Somethin Else produced the television show for Channel 4.

The concept:
A musical journey that takes place in the back of an EVO taxi, where various musicians freestyle and collaborate in the back of the car. And at the end of your journey you arrive at the live EVO music room gig…

Challenge:
To find the musicians who would be play the part of a passenger in the back of the car, shot in 30-10 second clips.

Solution:
Researched and cast a diverse range of authentic un-signed musicians, who fit the 6 genres of music in each of the title sequences. put together to look visually contrasting yet unified in sound.
