r22 Tout-monde is an online radio launched in June 2014 by Khiasma, cultural platform and art centre based in Les Lilas, on the north-est outskirts of Paris, in collaboration with L’appartement 22, an independent exhibition space in based in Rabat, Morocco.
It allows for the circulation and sharing of sound documents of all forms, produced by an ensemble of contributors from around the world. These documents are thought of as living archives and resources for action. Cultural and artistic organisations, schools and universities, artists, researchers, students or neighbourhood communities... all potential antennas directed to the Tout-Monde!

Whether broadcasting, receiving or propagating sounds and voices, the antennas embody, across different social, political and cultural contexts, multiple attempts to render audible forms of life and of speech. R22 Tout-monde aims to function as a zone of confluence, a collaborative tool. As a place for debate but also an editorial space for contemporary literature and sound works, the radio experiments different modalities of address and writing from both near and far.

The website redesign began in 2017. A first version was produced in 2018, then a second in 2020. During this long research period, listening, studying and using the website, directly within a public or at distance, made it possible to build improvements and upgrades. As the project is independent and small-scaled, I worked in a tight collaboration with its actors to draw its outlines. The aim was to offer better circulation between contents and develop new speech contexts to use. This work englobed all parts of a website creation : from sketching and conception to development and launch.
