Pabibo : It’s Okay to Be Smart

Pabibo is an events organization that facilitates workshops and other learning experiences for adults and teens. The company was founded by lifelong friends who started organizing small get togethers in order to share professional skills with each other. 

Eventually, they were joined by several groups of mutual colleagues and friends-of-friends that became interested in learning and sharing with their peers. Now Pabibo employs the help of notable practitioners in everything from graphic design, architecture, marketing, amongst others. 
Designing for Modularity

The use of a dynamic brand identity system was a solution to address the challenge of how each individual event could have its own identity but still be tied to the overall Pabibo brand. 

Each event would have its own pictogram incorporated to the the brand's wordmark that depicts something related to the topic of each workshop. 

We also created a simple color system to help assign colors to each separate event without repeating the same combinations. 
Since Pabibo is an event organization, their physical presence would mostly only exist semi-permanently. So we focused on maximizing the touchpoints where we can create the most impact –employing interesting guerilla installations, eye-catching and disruptive wayfinders to help in converting foot traffic as possible attendees.
