Slow Melt - Bean to Bar Chocolate
Slow Melt is a Chocolate Maker Cafe in Shanghai. We are approached to turn some of their branding comic shots to live. These scenes are taken out from a comic strip that explained the process of turning coco beans into chocolate. We were requested to animate them in cartoon and catchy way so that each character has its own emotions. First try on anthropomorphism animation techniques. We are happy to see the outcome here. It's all about the hard time been through from the selection of cocoa beans to roasting process and at the end only the good beans will be able to melt in our mouth.
This series is to illustrate the process of how the cocoa beans experienced during the selecting and roasting process.
