Used to be a country store, very popular with the fishing community.
The heat must of been immense.

Amazing contrast between a bed of green grass and scorched woods, a utilities truck carefully negotiates along the hillside.

Lake Solano, the smell of burn throughout the entire area is highly prevalent, the ground is soft and crunchy with layered charcoaled ash, my shoes are scuffed black, it's eerie, the land tortured & frowning in deep stern profound sadness like an old man, only whiskers bearing, time to heal.
