Phēno
Phēno is a place of creation, learning and contact with contemporary art and new audiovisual media, located in the center of Thessaloniki. It conducts a variety of activities focusing on contemporary art such as creative workshops, educational and interactive programs, public presentations and audiovisual productions.
The aim of designing the visual identity was to arouse the people's interest and curiosity to get to know the company, to trust it and at the same time to express its openness, creativity and contemporary artistic aesthetics.
To achieve this, we chose as the central idea of the identity the contrast between rigidity and play. Although we have used strict typography, the outcome is a creative trade off between form and functionality depending on the application.
