How to brand a festival

Audunbakken
Norways coolest festvial
___

For my final major project I developed a survival kit for Audunbakken Festival, a local music festival held in Norway. It was first held in 2003 as a party for a group of friends and family, and it was themed to seem like a festival. Friends of the organiser played guitar and tickets were created to make it feel more like a real festival. Word of mouth spread about the “fake festival”, and due to demand and popularity the following year a small, community, homemade 70’s festival was established, and has successfully continued ever since.

I am proud to have selected such a unique, stylish, cool and Norwegian theme for my yearlong project. I hope my project does the festival justice.

The survival kit I designed was a handcrafted wooden box that contained a booklet outlining the project and the following items to help people survive the festival; Wooden Toothbrush Cover, Handmade Autograph Book, Homemade Cutlery Bag, Serviettes, Packaging for Toothpaste, Sun Cream, Condoms, Earplugs, Plasters and Salt & Pepper.
-All the Serviettes and Packaging were covered in patterns made by screen printing.
