Despot - Satan in the Death Row

Despot é uma banda de metal de Belo Horizonte, fui convidado pelo seu único membro para produzir a arte de seu novo disco "Satan in the Death Row".

Tive liberdade total para produzir a ilustração e o feeling geral do disco. Ele apenas pediu para que a capa tivesse como tema algum tipo de caça às bruxas (perseguições religiosas, políticas e etc).

Escolhi o demônio da tasmânia como figura central pelo fato de ser um animal injustiçado e caçado pelo seu nome sua má reputação.

Despot is a metal band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I was invited by it's only member to create the art for his next album entitled "Satan in the Death Row"

I had total freedom to create the illustration and the overall feeling of the album. His only wish was to do something related to the witch hunt theme (political, religious prosecution, etc.)

I chose the Tasmanian Devil as a central figure due to the fact that it is an infamous animal and it's hunted because of it's name and bad reputation.
