My work at The Warehouse involved writing a whole range of marketing materials, primarily for the digital / eCommerce team but also occasionally for the wider marketing team.
Buying guides like the Christmas Tree Buying Guide and the Cooling Buying Guide were some pieces of long form content that I worked on.
During the Covid-19 lockdown in New Zealand, the The Warehouse Group's brands implemented a few changes to their Click & Collect policy. I wrote the content and some HTML code elaborating the new process, for all four brands.
I also changed some of the copy in the emailers explaining the changes to the process of collection.
As part of business as usual, I wrote product descriptions for The Warehouse and Torpedo7 using a tool called Cheese Sandwich which compiles pieces of content and produces unique web descriptions. This is especially useful when you have hundreds of products within a category and describing each of them individually is a painstakingly long process.
Writing notifications for The Warehouse and Noel Leeming apps (below), UI/UX copy, descriptions on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store as well as SEO copy for categories were also part of what I did.
