Isometric perspective


Manipulating perspective is an effective way to add three-dimensionality to a two-dimensional illustration. 
One discipline that takes special advantage of this is architecture, in which the isometric perspective is used to represent buildings to scale in two-dimensional drawing without having to resort to 3D software.​​​​​​​
