The starting point for this light was the designer’s fascination between how a fixture can be manipulated physically and the influence that manipulation has on the light level emitted. The form of the light poetically embodies this idea.

 

Delicate weights at the tail end of the balancing arm can be re-positioned with the push of a thumb and can change the angle of the arm, which determines the light output. A low position offers low light output, where as when raised upward the light output increases. This user determined control offers a sense of surprise and new interactive experience to the user.
