The Hive  - University Preparation 2013 - 2014

I am currently experimenting with spacial formations using purely old computer components that have been laying around my household for the last 17 years. 

After painstakingly dismantling every component. I shall be carefully reconstructing new and beautiful forms thus creating a building.
Using this method i shall be creating a Rhino 3D model and a set of drawings to accompany the physical. 

This is as part of a preparation for my final year MA in Architecture (RIBA Part 2)

Firstly after gathering 17 years worth of computer components, I have taken the time to dismantle each and every item hoping to manipulate their forms to create new ones.

Once sorting through all the various components I have commenced construction of the experimental model.

After a few weeks of experimenting, trial and error. Here is the final proposed model to aid my design process this year.
