The most emblematic and popular ingredient related to breakfast all along the world is the egg. OVO is an appliance designed to remark the magnificence of the egg as a keystone ingredient on the breakfast, to make it an everyday guest on our table.
The egg has so many preparations and possibilities, it’s sure we can find it in any kitchen. OVO is not just an appliance, is a tool to make easier and simpler our breakfast.
OVO small size is perfect to fit in every kitchen, from a big and spacious to the smallest counter table. The cable can be rolled up on the base, to prevent that it won’t be damaged while is not in use.
EXPLORATION
With a power output from 400 to 1 400 watts, we can play with the temperature accordingly to the wanted recipe. Hard-boiled eggs, frittata, poached eggs, the only limit is our imagination. The Teflon base is perfect for avoiding sticky egg, clean easy and durability. The timer can be set up to 20 minutes; after the set time ends, the appliance turns off itself, to grant that a perfect finish and prevent if someone forgets to turn it off.
The electric resistance is made from aluminum, granting a great conductivity. Also, the security push button ensures that the resistance will only work when the Teflon base is correctly assembled. The plastic base is designed to support 4 eggs, considering the possible size variations of these.
OVO were design as an application for "Design Your Breakfast", a design contest holded by DeLonghi for an appliance destined for breakfast.
