Chasing Sunrise is a hypothetical film festival dedicated to the films of the director Walter Salles. The films that were showcased in this project were The Motorcycle Diaries, On the Road, Behind the Sun, Central Station, and Foreign Land. Each film related with one another, because they were all about spontaneous travel, hope, and inspiration, which helped in creating the vernacular for the festival. All wooden and textile packaging were hand crafted. The journal, DVD packaging and ticket holder were hand sewn by me, which included lots of pricks to my fingers.
