Using suburbia as its setting, Rohnert Park is a series of constructed digital photographs exploring the idea of an ‘end-point:’ a vacuum created by a fulfilled narrative. Through this series, I set out to explore a tension within this state: a pervasive, shiftless order, but one that nevertheless reveals its own transience and a sense of loss.  The result is a surrealistic examination of race, diaspora and alienation.
