This project was created for my design students to get them exposed Layout Principles, Type Hierarchy, Use of elements and Image Editing Principles.
The brief was to design a magazine page layout for a given text content by incorporating Type Pairing, Colours, Shapes and Images.
Initially, the students had to start with layout ideas without thinking about other design elements.
Rough Layout Sketch
Tried different variations and uses of design elements to come up with a set of solutions for the layout. We used Canva for this exercise.
By working on this project, students were given the opportunity to learn about the various principles involved in layout design.
