In building on an idea I used in a previous project, the concept for this promo was a calendar comprised of videos for each weekday.

There were a significant amount of effects used to bring this promo together. The purple curtains at the beginning were made using fractal noise. For each video clip involving the green screen, keying was utilized for the visuals alongside stereo mixer for the audio. Warp stabilizer and Mocha AE were used for the Breaking News clip.

I had intended to use Mocha for a fairly simple text effect aligned on a wall while the camera moves through a hallway. Despite technical issues with the tracker that stumped myself and both instructors, the final result is roughly what I had in mind.

Near the end of the project, I realized that the "See you on Monday" video clip wasn't long enough for the zoomed out duration of the entire calendar. To remedy this problem, I searched online for how to reverse a video clip in After Effects. Fortunately, I found the easy method of righting clicking a clip, selecting Time, and Time-Reverse Layer. I copied the original video clip, placed the copy at the end of the original, and reversed the copy. Since there wasn't much motion in the original clip, the reversal is barely noticeable and extended the duration to the needed length.
