The ‘Cross-It’ shelving system consists of multiple units which can be arranged in various ways to achieve different configurations. Arriving in a flat-pack state; it’s minimal componentry makes Cross-it simple enough for anyone to assemble. Each individual unit consists of four main parts, which piece together via a traditional method of wood joinery; ‘half joins’. These units then adjoin end-to-end with neighbouring modules, using super-simplistic hardware/fxings - These modules can be rotated to increase versatility. This shelving will free-stand to act as a room divider or can even be mounted on walls to serve as a vertical garden/wall farm, making it perfect for livening up dull spaces with greenery in compact living situations. Cross-It is utilizes almost an entire sheet of material, minimizing material waste. Each unit measures 600h x 600w x 200d and is offered in a variety of materials ranging from veneered plywood to OSB (Oriented strand board).
