I was really excited to do this project. In my house, we have a framed print of a “found alphabet” of my town. So it was very interesting to create something similar at school. I enjoyed the process of this work because it required me to focus on details more. I found myself searching for cool letters throughout the last week.
In some instances, it was difficult to pick between two versions of a letter. That’s not to say it wasn’t challenging. A common obstacle was capturing individual letters without other letters bordering them. This made me pay more attention to my framing and visibility. Nonetheless, it was quite a rewarding experience because having your own found alphabet is truly pleasing.
