The apartment is located on the top floor of a Athenian building of the '60s with an uncommon triangular outline.
We were asked to rethink the interior and propose a new living scenario for a couple, whose main desire was to have the existing space enlarged and a number of uses added; working space, fireplace, second bathroom, dressing room and storage areas. The proposal keeps nothing but the structural elements from the previous state and releases the interior from any limitations. It creates three distinct domestic areas: master bedroom and working space on the sides plus a central continuous open space where living room, dining area and kitchen coexist.
The red rod -which receives the fireplace and a great deal of storage space- distributes circulation in the apartment and provides privacy where necessary.
