Constructing an Image
Major lines:
The leading lines are objects in a scene that directs our eyes towards an important object. Those major lines draw our attention on Margot in the left  down corner in these scene. Major objects such as the TV, the TV antenna, the cable of the fan, the towel rack, the soap on the sink are also pointing at Margot. By framing the eyes of the spectator are naturally drawn to the main and only character of the scene. In addition, the right site of the image is empty of objects. The attention is all on Margot.
Natural frame:
The encapsulated frame include Margot, her survival kit (TV, fan, phone, nail polish) and objects that indicate the room we are in (sink, towels, tower rack). There is no such thing as a conflict about what we should look at, our attention is all on Margot, there is no disturbing objects or sounds (no windows, no TV sound, no wind coming from the fan, no extra object).
Cradling:
Curved surfaces acts as framing devices. The way Margot is seating, slightly curled up is framing further more what we should look. We should pay attention to what she is saying on the phone and her face. This cradling bring a sense of equilibrium, like all the pieces of the scene fits perfectly together.
Contrast:
No brighter objects are distracting us from Margot sitting on the sink. However, Margot is not standing out, she is not in brighter or darker colors, she perfectly blends in with the decor that is in similar colors. The color are very neutral, pastel.
Dimensionality:
Depth lines

First assignment description of my scene themes :

This scene is the first scene where Margot appears as an adult. She is in her bathroom watching television and smoking cigarettes in secret. She seems depressed and looks like she has not achieved her destiny of being a successful writer. This medium and eye level shot enables the viewer to be immersed in the scene, he is able to capture her environment and her facial expressions, as well as gestures. The use of static shots brings gravity to the moment. The pastel colours allow us to focus on the character that seems secluded in this space, the camera framing plays a role in this impression that we have.
What Objective elements will you add to your Axo that cannot be seen elsewhere?
E.g. Annotation, exploded elements, objects off screen.
- I think to convey this sense of seclusion I am going to have this little dark box in the middle of a black plage.

What Subjective elements can you add via post-processing to your image?
E.g. exaggerate colour or lighting, highlight characters and elements otherwise unseen.
- I think I am going to have this kind of dark drawing and light coming in by the TV, the bottom of the door and the phone. And the odors of the cigarette and the parfume. Fog = her brain and her cigarette
