«This is the story of Jorge and his family and how a small gesture can change the World.»

Guardians of Biodiversity presents, through the eyes of an 11 year-old boy and his family and friends, some of the most important environmental challenges Jorge's generation faces.

This boy decides to take action, involving those around him, through the creation of the first Biodiversity Guardians Club. Step by step his idea grows, becoming an example for millions of people around the world who decide to get involved in the protection of the natural heritage and biodiversity of our planet.
This book is being used in several educational workshops given within the education program 'Roots & Shoots' from the Jane Goodall Institute in Spain. These workshops emphasize the role that we all play in the fight for climate justice and the defense of biodiversity against global warming.

This initiative wants to encourage schoolchildren to found their own guardians club to become more actively involved in the fight against the climate crisis.
