The auto-industry bailout had as much as anything else to do with Obama's win in Ohio, particularly Northwest Ohio, which economically is more a part of Michigan's auto industry than of anything in the Buckeye State. And a bizarre, last-minute campaign ad claiming Obama "sold Chrysler to the Italians so they could produce Jeeps in China" destroyed any advantage Romney had in Ohio. For the Toledo Free Press.
