BlankFrame is a bimonthly magazine that compiles the work of women in historical and current cinema, specifically in the different fields of production and pre-production. BlankFrame is an attempt to make visible the works and talents of women overlooked by history, as well as a celebration of the work of women in today's filmmaking industry. Every issue features an editorial spread as a tribute to an outstanding woman apart from the world of cinema. This particular issue focuses on women animators, and includes a photographic editorial about Amelia Earhart, as an exploration of motion through silhouette inspired by the work of Lotte Reiniger, prestigious and influential pioneer in animation.
