illimité - F & B Project
'illimité' is a cafe inspired by the combination of France's Parisian cafe and sidewalk cafes. The cafe serves variety of french desserts and artisan breads including the signature parfait and freshly brew coffee. It is a casual cafe where people can gather with friends and family as well as having discussion about work in an atmosphere of an exterior. Teen adults are mainly targeted as the customers of illimité.

By directly translating the name 'illimité' in French, it means limitless which uses to describe that the limitless food they serve, interior of the cafe which features a fashion show runway along with natural lighting or artificial lighting and also how limitless can fashion be.

Limitless, also describing the possibilities that exist in the cafe.

CONCEPT
'illimité' was designed based on the concept 'in the outside', which means bring in the atmosphere and the elements of exteriors into interior. ' In the outside' was inspired by the combination of 2 French culture cafes including a Parisian cafe, which serves as a meeting place, neighborhood hub, conversation matrix, Rendez-Vous spot networking source, a place to relax or refuel the social and political pulse of the city, as well as sidewalk cafe, also known as pavement cafe, a place for eating and drinking that located on sidewalk beside the streets. 'illimité' let customers experience an environment and activities of a Parisian cafe but serves more leisure desserts, food and beverage just like France's sidewalk cafe.

Customers are welcomed with a full view of dining area that features a fashion show runway, coffee station and walls with different exterior elements. The cafe has a slanted double glazed glass roofing and a layer of printed Barrisol stretch ceiling that allows sunlight slightly come in during the day. One of the purpose is to let people to host a fashion show during daytime with skylight.
The Aroma Counter is a combination of front desk, cashier as well as coffee station The design of the counter is replicating the elements of France exterior building. The counter is made of wood with dark blue grey paint finished and white paint finished feature wall. The top of the counter is finished with black mirrors with frames that represents the windows of buildng.
The Runway Island is a U-shaped runway that can host a fashion show with a fan-shaped brick pavement, concrete steps in the side to represent the elements of a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The columns and the wall that connects the runway is a textured rough wall coated with sand brown paint.
The Deck Seating features a long bench with cushion and round build-in table cantilivered from the base of the long bench. Behind the long bench has a wood feature wall with black mirrors. The deck seating was designed to let customers to have a better view of the runway while hosting a fashion show as well as a long table for people to gather with friends and family during the normal days.
The walls of Behind The Fashion are covered with wood strips and 4 arrow shaped wood strips with glossy paint finishing that has a meaning of keep moving forward as fashion show is a very fast-paced event.
