I was commisioned to design a wedding invitation for my friend Zhengrong. He wanted a simple typographic approach. I added in some small icons to make it look more interesting. The main icon is a vector silhouette of Zhengrong and his fiancée based on one of the photos from their pre-wedding photoshoot.

 

Due to their wedding package that offered card printing services as well, I had to base my design on the card size of 9.3cm x 22.5cm. One-sided printing.

The colours were chosen to match the rest of the wedding decor.

 

Printed on 180gsm textured cream-coloured card.
