Selling sandals and island vibes during the winter months can be a bit of a challenge, especially considering half the country is in more of a thick socks and snow storm mood at that point. Therefore, OluKai was looking for, in their words, “in your face holiday, but still Hawaiian inspired” creative for the season. I worked with them to art direct the campaign, including custom lettering and holiday illustrations, photography direction, and mailer design.
