A visual and strategic concept and insight was created with the use of, among other methods, Design Personas for the new mobile app for the Norwegian grocery chain Spar. Principles of emotional design was used to explore how Spar as a brand can build a strong tone of voice and visual style. Our close-knit team consisting og an Interaction Designer, Graphic Designer and Front-End Developer laid down extensive work into the visual and functional design of the app, as well as creating a friendly and helpful tone of voice throughout the app. The team also focused a lot on how to use animation to clarify the functionality of the app. A complete set of custom icons were designed to fit with the rest off the visual aesthetic of the app.
