U.P. Mountaineers Talikasan Open Climbs 2018
The Talikasan Open Climb was started in 1989 as a batch project of newly-inducted members of the UP Mountaineers (Alakban). It was meant to be a hands-on training for guiding groups (especially novices) outdoors.
Talikasan came from "pakikipag talik sa kalikasan" (communing with nature).
My Batch: Hotshots 2017 organized these climbs last summer of 2018 to exercise our leadership and training skills to be able to share them to our co-mountaineers at heart. We allow ourselves to be as authentic in our bond especially to non-UPM members for us to establish a good friendship in our communities. I worked with my batchmate, Rhomuell Bernardo to come up with public materials for the event.

These were the first posters/template I came up with but wasn't used because the majority wanted a simpler and more visual one with big pictures and fonts
These were the final versions of the posters that were used to advertise our event. We had approximately 20 comers for each of the climb and were able to recruit at least 10 of them to apply for the organization.
