BRAND STORY

The story behind Ramen Densetsu started from the owner’s love of ramen which then transformed into a hobby. As part of the generation of ramen devotees, he had visited over hundreds of shops across the archipelago of Japan. Through trials and errors, he was able to recreate the unique taste he loved the most from his journey. The legendary recipe - “Densetsu Reshipi” was born and able to share with our fellow Vancouverites. “Taste the difference of ramen made by ramen lover” is the sole purpose of his re-creation. At Densetsu, it’s all about having a good balance between the five elements of ramen. These five elements: tare, aroma oil, noodles, broth and toppings work together to deliver a tasty and umami-packed bowl. We specialized in tori chintan (clear chicken broth) which mixed with their original dashi, it creates a beautiful texture and complex flavour profile. Combining local and Japanese ingredients, we serve a bowl full of chicken flavour but also deep layers of umami.
