Barmer Hand Block Printing is all about boldness and intricacy. This craft portrays a story which showcase Rajasthani culture and tradition. In the world full of modern prints, we tried to merge their traditional motifs with some quirky patterns. Keeping the idea of ‘DIY’ (Do It Yourself). We explored with some household scrap material to get a best out of waste notion. We designed this collection to connect the youth of modern day world with the tradition of their native country. With this idea of connectivity, we want the youth to learn and carry forward the heritage of the place they belong to. This helps to bind the traditional motifs of Barmer with the tinge of western sensibilitites.
