STYLE & TECHNIQUES: This design is made from premium veg tan leather, which has been oiled and dyed with natural oils to natural pale tan colour. The design is based around the ‘Dark heart’ at the center. From which you can see a skull and anatomical heart, with crossed moth daggers. Inspired by nature, it includes motifs of bees, bugs, moths, and sweet pea flowers.
The design is tattooed using only 1 needle & a traditional tattoo machine. Therefore the line work is both detailed and labor intensive. The line work is brought out by tooling with leatherworking tools, creating depth within the design. The edges are cut and burnished to a smooth finish
