Brief: To create a distinctive cover for renowned whisky expert Ian Buxton’s guide to ‘accessible whiskies for real people’. The publisher wanted to the cover to stand out against the more traditional Scottish imagery commonly used in books within
the same genre.
Result: Released in September 2010, it has now been re-printed twice. In just three months it has established itself as the UK’s fastest-selling and most successful whisky book of 2010. The book has also appeared in a number of high profile publications within the whisky industry and influential style blogs such as Cool Hunting and Fixabook.
