NARRATIVE DESIGN

The story of ‘Muna’ revolves around Muna, a little girl’s adventure to find water in a crisis struck city. The Narrative  It stretches across 2 timelines and 3 worlds, where World 1 is the establishment of the theme ‘Water crisis’, World 2 is fiction where step well is an important element. World 3 is more fantastical and is imagined to be the most interactive portion of the experience.

Note about the process

The Narrative design process was nonlinear and mostly based on intuition. Getting into forming a structure for the narrative, layers of meanings were added by building the structure with bits and pieces of narratives. Later connections were made between the pieces, modifying and rearranging the narrative structure till it formed a story with a series of narratives that would finally serve the purpose of the larger narrative intent.
