Jasmine Correia - Animation & Illustration
This special project was a banner design and intro for youtuber Jasmine Correia. Her content is focused on astrology, spirituality, female power, life, health, nature and travels. I wanted to create an image that combined a few of these elements, and that represented this mystical, alchemical vibe, with elements of nature.
I ended up deciding to also create a "night" version of the same illustration", as the subject of "duality" was something we talked about, and wanted to bring into the project.
So this gives her another option, to use in a particular occasion, or something she can swap between if she sees fit.

The animation of the name was made in Photoshop, using frame by frame animation to mimic the effect of it being written out in paint and leaving some droplets behind. The animation of all other elements was done in After effects.

After finishing the project, I decided to create a little "mockup" to post on my social media and present the project. For that, I created the two shorts videos below, one during the day, for the day version, and one at night for the night one.
This was the end result.
I think this project translates well the themes and feeling of Jasmine's channel, and the earthy tones, and natural elements encapsulate her love for nature, and the mystical side of life.
