This is the final visualisation of a Product development project. In this project I was asked to develop a product from a waste material. I designed this lamp with inspiration from mines. The design itself is a modern take of the tradition miners lamp and instead of glass, slag was used, which is a waste material derived from the purification process of the mining industry.

This project led me to investigate the mining history in both Wales and Dalarna County in Sweden (where my family is from).
