This book has been developed as an exhibits catalogue for the art exhibition “Eldorado. Treasures of the Native Americans”. Its structure is mainly based on a neat combination of big images, historical references and in-depth studies of Native American cultures. The style of the catalogue continues the corporate identity of the exhibition with its mysterious details and pages hidden in the fog where the starry darkness envelopes with smoke the legends of ancient gold.
One of the main elements of the exhibition's corporate identity is the image of a golden pendant in form of a crustacean creature made of blood red gold and shrouded with the fume of the ceremonial fire and smoking pipes.
The crustacean is highlighted with glossy varnish on a soft and velvet cover. Different textures give an unusual sensation from touching the book. An important detail on the cover is the gold-embossed logo specially designed for the exhibition and used in this catalogue. Its image is based on the stylization of common symbols, pictograms and folk patterns of Native American tribes.
