A book typographically translating Nizar Kabbani’s poem, “Ighdab”.

Through a monochromatic color palette consisting of black and white, a bold font, and an exaggerated contrast of layout, I aimed to visually capture the frustration and endurance of Kabbani’s narrator; who is overwhelmed with feelings of desperateness and anger towards their loved one, yet with a beacon of hope.
