A sans serif design that cannot be easily categorized. Not geometric, not really a humanist and certainly not a grotesque it lives in a world that is both familiar and unique. I tried to add lots of little details like chamfered corners and cupped terminals that would not be obvious at small sizes, but would add a lot of softness to the font when it was set in larger sizes. Commenting about Giacomo in Creative Pro, John Berry wrote ...the sexiest "x" in the world...unusually sinuous...angles and curves that you wouldn't expect...a certain restrained playfulness...
