THE RESOURCE JOB BOARD
For this project I have created a concept around an existing platform that lives on Facebook, called The Resource Job Board. The Resource is strictly a South African creative platform. Exclusively for the advertising industry, media, film, and PR.
Although there are many features on this Facebook page such as discussions, events, jobs and announcements, the goal of the app is to only focus on jobs. The app would be an extension of the Facebook group. I chose this concept due to the fact that The Resource page has been proven to be successful in its goal, with over 16 thousand members. The app would provide the same services as the Facebook page, but in a more structured and comprehensive way. It provides this service without all the admin, costs of external recruiters and an effortless platform for this target market. It provides a structural system that filters the profiles and help the user (employee and employer) find quick and relevant suitable users.
