-LAGUNA COLLECTION-

The ocean is by far the most mysterious part of the world which therefore leaves room for interpretation and mystical beliefs. Inspired by the texture of the ocean and the life that grows within it. Laguna portrays the natural organic forms and translating it into a occasion wear collection.

A This was my final major product at university, I really enjoyed this project and exploring different textures and fabric manipulations that you can create through chiffon, satin, neoprene and reflective banding.

However in the short about of time and pressure that was applied for the dead line, I have to admit some corners were cut. If I was to recreate this collection I would resolve a few of the skirt pieces that were not drapping to quite my liking and the way some of the bodices were sitting.

I think in the next coming months I shall take my laguna inspiration and create a 2.0 of the collection and how I truly invisioned the pieces.
