"100 years of Alan Turing"

As you probably know Alan Turing was an English mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst, and computer scientist. He was highly influential in the development of computer science, providing a formalisation of the concepts of "algorithm" and "computation" with the Turing machine, which played a significant role in the creation of the modern computer.

This project was created to celebrate the 100 years of Alan Turing and all of his contributions. The 23rd March 2012 was also the date that celebrated the official opening of the University of Salford MediaCity UK Building. Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh officially opened MediaCityUK on Friday 23 March as part of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

To contribute for this big event I had done one motion piece and an illustration, both can be seen below. The motion piece was done with Power Director x10 and my illustration had been first hand drawn an afterwards processed with illustrator.
