100 Marimba Orchestra
Boundlessly energetic, yet gentle dialogue, the impact from hundreds of percussionists’ unison bursts with Eastern and Western cultural connotation. Since Ju Percussion Group’s establishment, the group has been seeking to break the line between tradition and contemporary, constantly trying to create a new trend of percussion. For ROC Centennial celebration, JPG invites one hundred outstanding percussionists to challenge：the classic piece of J. S. Bach, Ástor Piazzolla’s tango piece, Taiwanese composer Hung Chien-Hui’s “Kao-à-hì Pantasy”（inspired by Taiwanese Opera）, and present Japanese composer Koji Sakurai’s world premiere“ Saku”.The audience will have an unprecedented experience with an exquisite presentation of one hundred musicians who convey and touch the resonance of music in Taiwan.
建國一百年系列《百人木琴音樂會》
特別策劃並結合國內十個知名打擊樂團：朱宗慶打擊樂團、台北打擊樂團、薪傳打擊樂團、十方樂集、1002打擊樂團、連雅文打擊樂團、北藝大打擊樂團、臺藝大打擊樂團、嘉義大學打擊樂團、躍動打擊樂團，以及海內外一百位知名台灣打擊樂家聯合演出，詮釋古典巴赫、探戈大師皮耶佐拉的作品，挑戰西方經典與現代音樂；加上融合台式搖滾、由台灣作曲家洪千惠以歌仔戲「身騎白馬」發想創作之《白馬狂想》，以及日本作曲家櫻井弘二新作《咲》。藉由百位演奏者細膩演繹，深切傳達音樂家對台灣的特殊情感，觸動觀眾深度共鳴，帶來前所未有的聆賞體驗。
