I am a freelancing illustrator/ designer that lives in New York city. I was a graphic designer for Triple Five Soul. And I've freelanced in the fashion industry under design and graphics.
I would describe my work as visual orgasms. I think that art and illustration is meant to help create an escapist atmosphere and that is what people need at the moment. An escape from the bill collectors, problems , work, children, etc. I like to think that my work provides that type of escape.
What I've recently done is apply my illustrations/ artwork to certain markets to try to separate myself as an independent commercial entity. Thinking about the longevity of my artwork and its commercial impact has provided me with a amble reasons to continue down this path.When looking at my career retrospectively i would like to think that i associated myself with companies that help empower the modern artist thus empowering myself.
