Lead Menswear Graphic Designer
I'm currently a lead graphic designer. I work in a design and printing house. My main job roles are to produce designs for a range of clients, ranging from children's, menswear and ladies wear, using a varied amount of design skills in branding, illustration, typography and custom fabrications and printing techniques for UK high street brands and international clients. I provide a high level of service, from designing and working alongside a design/print team and clients/buyers on a one to one basis. I provide artwork and prepare and output designs straight through to production, where our printing house produce samples and finished garments.
I've always brought my professionalism and passion for art and design into any creative aspect of my life. As a creative i've always wanted to progress into becoming a successful graphic designer. Learning from my peers and working alongside a great team is definitely where I excel. Since being at this company I have gone to sell work into many high street brands, including streetwear labels, artists and bands. Work of which can be seen in stores and online.
I've developed a large amount of knowledge in printing whilst working at this company. I have had a good knowledge before, when working on silk screening projects. Although I have a much wider understanding of printing applications, types of stock and fabrics. I can produce the artwork and see it through to production, outputting layers for printing. I'm used to working on faster paced projects as I have meetings throughout the month with clients, projects varying from many styles and mood boards. Pitching my designs to my peers and clients in board meetings.
